A Visit to Carl Sandburg's House

Some weekends my husband and I like to travel out to Carl Sandburg's home in Flat Rock, North Carolina. An absolutely wonderful home of a talented writer, a lovely hike to the top of the mountain and we always are sure to spend some time with Mrs. Sandburg's goats.

 It was a lovely January day and full of love and laughter and stories. I'm glad to have been able to capture parts of it in photographs! It definitely gave me a lot of inspiration and this guardian cat was an absolute delight to meet.
